Maybe I am behind with the times and all that but I have never used hair straighteners. I have the straightest hair in the world, my entire family has enviably straight hair I never saw the point. That was until I last went to have my fringe trimmed and I was having a moan about how my fringe goes a wavy when it gets a bit long. She whipped out a tiny pair of hair straighteners and fixed my fringe in no time, impressive huh!
Then I see these new GHD adverts featuring Kate Perry, with beautiful waved and curled hair - did you know hair straighteners can do that too! I have been lusting after 1940's style waves for ages so I think it is time for me to try out hair straighteners after all.
I decided to have a nose around researching GHD as they are expensive, but I want a good quality pair if I am to get some. Now you know I love anything to do with anti-counterfeit information, so the GHD site was super interesting for me. I know full well that the counterfeiters had been forging GHD's for some time. In fact I saw a documentary about how dangerous the counterfeit straighteners are, they can cause burns and set on fire to name but a few dangers. Anyway I think the effots GHD have gone to, to help protect customers is excellent. You can register your straighteners with them to guarantee their authenticity and they have a function where you can enter the web site which has them for sale to check if it is an authorized retailer.
The site is also fully interactive with step-by-step styling tutorials and videos. So watch this space for some super hair styling - and if I never mention it again we will concede that I am not at all skilled with the hair styling!

Any of you have GHD's? Have you tried any of the fancy styles?
