Vintage Sheet Quilt Top Complete
I finished up my vintage sheet quilt top! It is a little lap sized quilt measuring 45" square. I used an alternating pattern of snowballs and paper pieced Wedge and Circle blocks. I found the idea here.
I tried incorporating some sheets that were just given to me into the larger blocks but the pattern sort of fell apart. So I remade those blocks and used the same two sheet designs for all of the snowballs. The wedge and circle blocks incorporate bits of about nine different sheet designs.
I am mulling over the quilting. I don't think I want to do an all over design for fear that the pattern created by the solid pink (Kona Peony) won't stand out.
And here she is, the birthday girl. She is officially two today. When asked how old she is, she answers "Bigger." It makes me smile every time.
